Parchment Background Image for RCT3 FAQ: Our VIP Blue Book, Page 3

Biographies

Only the Vanilla VIP’s were issued with official descriptions. Instead of simply copying from the game manual what we’d found of the Vanilla VIP bios we’ve added to that the various bits of information about these celebrities as found about the internet.

Because we needed to come up with our own descriptions for Bob Waterman and for Major Smythe, so their biographies would blend with the Vanilla celebrities we’ve humanized the characterisations of all the VIP’s by describing them as if they’re real people. We hope our literary license makes them more engaging for you to read about … perhaps you might find it interesting to try and determine which information is authentic and which has been embellished.

Clint Bushton

Having worked on several former presidents’ campaigns and now himself a presidential candidate, Mr. Bushton expects to be given the red carpet treatment and has a roving eye for the ladies. Eagle-eyed gamers will notice he occasionally asks one of our park guests if her name is Monica.

He is a graduate of Yale University and Harvard Business School during which time he excelled at his studies at Julliard’s Music Technology Center. He worked for over a decade in the upper echelons of civil aviation before himself before entering politics.

As he sports about your park in cashmere formal jacket with political rosette attached he’ll emanate an aura of being pleased with life, pleased with your park, and pleased with himself. He spends his spare time with his wife at their south-east ranch where they enjoy gardening, yachting on the nearby lake, and maintaining a small horse stable. The Bushton’s have three teen-aged children.

His name is a pun on the names of former U.S. presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush.

Cami O

Immaculately coiffed and dressed for California climate, this glamorous young screen actress, the only RCT3 inhabitant that wears high heels, will push and glide her way around your park in her Charles Jourdans, yearning for life to be the way it was before she became famous. Originally from a large farming family in the American mid-west, stunning bone structure and a lovely body that always carried clothes well got her discovered quickly after her arrival in Los Angeles.

Although she has otherwise taken beautifully to her new lifestyle she dislikes bodyguards and abhors structure in her movie star day-to-day. She volunteers at animal shelters, visits & chats with children in hospitals, and is studying to become an Art Historian. Not entirely happy with her success in Hollywood, she secretly dreads the day she’ll become as famous as Jackie O and aspires to return to the wide open spaces and fresh air of the mid-west so that she can manage the library & museum in her home town.

Her name is a pun on the word “cameo.”

Kara Oki

Sincere, pretty, and quite young, Kara Oki is a favourite international teen pop-star. While she enjoys wearing designer clothing she prefers the eclectic selections of borderline designers who may not be as famous as those more widely known.

She enjoys acting as hostess in the informal atmosphere she’s created in her home, where she also spends time recording music with friends in the music studio built there. When not rehearsing she enjoys skate boarding, surfing, and, of course, visiting amusement parks. She hopes one day to own and operate a music store.

She prefers intense rides and is the only one of the VIPs that has a flat ride attraction of her own: Kara Oki concert, in which she performs.

Her name is a pun on the word “karaoke.”

Joe Sluggerball

Joe is a famous World Series player and is a big hit with the crowds. He is a supreme contact hitter, a skilful power hitter, and has a preternatural understanding of batting and base running tactics. He prefers playing on large fields in huge stadiums. A nature lover at heart, he has once been quoted as saying, “There is nothing as invigorating as playing a postseason game in New England during the changing of the leaves.”

Concerned about nearing the end of his career, he’ll attend your park immaculately attired in starched uniform carrying his favorite bat but you’ll find him to be a bit skittish up close and personal with your guests as he shies away from autograph hunters in busy parks.

Bob Waterman

Except for his visits to our parks Bob swims only in world championship pools or in the Olympic-sized pool at his home. Bob’s early history of being a body builder benefitted him immensely during the early and middle segments of his training cycles which ultimately enabled him to become a two-time silver medal winner in men’s swimming competitions. Regrettably his body builders’ physique (very un-tapered underwater) was the only thing that prevented him from achieving gold.

Having gained all the health benefits of being a professional swimmer, remaining a true believer in his sport he’ll attend your park wearing competition Jantzens as if the professional swimming year has no season.

Major St. John Smythe

This well-known hunter and explorer is straight out of a safari from Arthur Conan Doyle’s Lost World. During his final expedition he discovered the Lost Coaster, a double-coaster structure thought at one time to be mythical (being only hinted at in legend) yet believed to have been lost forever. When discovered it displayed all indications of having been constructed by a civilization of expert coaster creators known as the Wardleys.

His palatial home includes a large climate controlled conservatory containing hundreds of specimens of tropical plants, plus a huge gallery displaying his extensive collection of hunting trophies. Although the gregarious Major has remained in touch with the many people he’s met over the years, he can become a bit annoyed at the crowds near busy park attractions.

You’ll find the Major will sport around your park wearing the earth colored kit that reminds him of the times he recalls most fondly. He can occasionally be observed pretending to aim and shoot at the animals inside your enclosures.
