Seclusion and expansiveness are suggested in this, a serene, distant shot of Tranquility Tea Room. It is an example of the location of the infrastructure being an asset to the total guest experience.

The design of this facility is a good blend of merged features, compactness and functionality. A huge, less refined facility in this same location could easily have the guests in a hurry to leave due to their feeling negatively isolated from the rest of the park.

The goal here was to build an elevated coaster station that looked imposing, felt inspired, and incorporated staff utility areas which I believe are overlooked in most parks. This image is a good example of merged infrastructure.

Park Sights

Just like theming and attractions, the overall appearance of our park plays an important role in our guests’ total experience.

What a charming view this is of The Hacienda in our POE Building 4 Set Presentation Park. It beautifully showcases some of the park nearby.

Vegetation is a must in order to enhance the appearance of our parks.

Here in this image are exampled vegetation alongside architecture made up of integrated attractions. In a setting like this, most guests about our pool who notice The Sandwich Terrace above quickly find their way up to our café to enjoy a treat.

Occasionally it’s a good idea to add something to the park purely for its aesthetic value, as seen here with this ornamental pond.

Speaking of aesthetics, when selecting scenery do avoid choosing a single path texture along with a single fence type, and limiting yourself only to those throughout your entire park.

While you’re placing the fencing about your park don’t forget to use custom fencing around your flat rides. Except for TexMod, nothing will do more to make your flat rides look like they belong in your park.

One should also consider how his park looks from a distance and from all angles. Everything in your park should work well together. Visually, nothing should stand apart from anything else.

Having said that it’s a good idea to have at least one focal point in your park, as exampled by this gazebo. Any focal point should work well with everything else in your park.

One should give careful consideration to placement of attractions. This mini golf course could have more easily been placed on flat terrain with shorter paths than the ones seen here. Carefully placed on this steep, coastal hillside the golf course and it’s location both become a visual attraction. The visual appeal of this area is enhanced by the CSO supports at each hole and by thoughtful placement of vegetation on this CFR & on the surrounding terrain. Every hole has a stunning view of ocean panoramas with the extra long paths providing ample opportunity for guests to take in the breathtaking views as they stroll along to sink their next ball.
